With a new year come new changes and challenges, which remain valid for the British School and the Falcons athletics department.
Last year, the biggest tournament was the ISSL, a national multi-sport competition featuring eight international schools from across the country and sometimes even the continent. The top two teams from each division earned a spot in the Final Four, where the best teams from both the ISSL and its counterpart, the Big 8, faced off to determine once and for all who was the best.
This year, we face new challenges with the introduction of the all-new Big 16—a massive tournament featuring all qualifying teams in a conference-style playoff format.
The British Falcons of Urca, coming off a victorious season that saw them secure multiple medals and advance two divisions to the Final Four, are under pressure this year to claim their place in the winners’ column again.
